FXSA, as a subconsultant to Arcadis, is providing services on the IBWC Sunland Park Levee Repair project. FXSA is performing a topographic survey for design and boundary survey of approximately 11.5 - 12 miles along IBWC ROW in Texas and New Mexico for the purpose of designing the east and west levee, establishing the boundary limits of the U.S. IBWC ROW boundary and the preparation of IBWC ROW map. FXSA established horizontal and vertical control monuments on this project. The horizontal control is based on the New Mexico Coordinate System of 1983 (SPCS 83), Central Zone (3002), North American Datum of 1983 (NAD 83), U. S. Survey feet and the vertical control is based on the North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD 88). FXSA provided a Combined Scale Factor of 0.99973833 for the project.
