The project consisted of replacing an On-Site Sewage Facility (OSSF) for the Visitor’s Center in Pine Springs, TX by the Guadalupe Mountains National Park. The proposed modern system was to replace an old sand filter, dosing syphon, and leaching field with a brand new infiltrator system. The project consisted of splitting the OSSF system into two separate systems; one to serve the National Park Service and the second to serve the TxDOT maintenance facility. The 2 new systems included the installation of 2 new concrete septic tanks and 2 infiltration fields. We were also responsible for processing the TCEQ permits for both systems.
