TxCDBG Colonia Construction Fund, Water & Sewer lines
County of Hudspeth – Fort Hancock, Texas
Having extensive experience with federally funded programs and assisting with grant applications, FXSA had the qualifications to deliver this project funded by TxCDBG Colonia Construction Fund-Public Infrastructure Improvements. Project’s primary focus consisted of Water and Sewer Improvements throughout the entire city of Fort Hancock, within Hudspeth County, TX. FXSA helped with budget justification and application preparation for the Colonia construction fund, as required by Texas Department of Agriculture. FXSA designed 1,805 LF of 8” PVC® water main pipe; 8” gate valve 3 each; fire hydrant 2 each; water service connection; back flow preventer, 3,490 LF of 8” PVC® gravity sewer line and service connection to existing manhole; standard fiber glass manholes; 480 SY of saw-cut and patch pavement; and traffic control. Project also included: specifications and detailed contract drawings, bid packets, contract documents, advertisement for bids, cost estimates, and carrying out periodic visits to site throughout the duration of the construction.
